This site is a community venture put together by the people of Glen
Lachart, in order to promote the village and share its unique way of
life with the world at large.
Over the years the site has gone through many redesigns,
usually caused by arguments and in-fighting among the villagers, as we
"debated" the best direction to take Glen Lachart Online. At a recent
village meeting, however, it was decided by all present that the site
should favour a "back to basics" approach, providing content useful to
both visitors and locals alike.
The result is what you see here, although we are currently
still in the process of adding the initial content to the site. Once
that's done visitors will be able to look forward to regular updates on
events in the village, with plenty of opportunity to contribute to its
day to day life!
